Retail Project in the Granite City

Annandale Design is pleased to have been appointed by Bell Building Projects to design, manufacture and install a small metalwork package to retail unit 131 - 139 Union Street in Aberdeen. The current building on Aberdeen’s main retail street is going through a significant refurbishment to bring it up to the standard required for the historic high street.

The project includes the design, manufacture and installation of a new internal steel access stair and steel balustrades, which will connect the existing basement with the ground floor. Challenges include the safe delivery of materials on Aberdeen’s busiest street, as well as ensuring limited disruption to neighbouring retail units who will be open for business during the installation.

This appointment comes during significant growth in Aberdeen for Annandale Design, recently being appointed to deliver a number of metalwork packages including Statoil and Anderson Anderson Brown to Aberdeen’s first world class business park, Prime Four in Kingswells.
