Specialist Architectural Housing Development Project

Since 2011, Annandale Design has been working closely with leading property, residential, construction and services group Kier Group at their Hawkhead Village site in Paisley, Glasgow. Hawkhead Village is a landmark development built around the former Hawkhead Hospital and the site has been transformed into a significant residential community of more than 300 homes. The design has retained elements of the original art deco style used at the location by world-famous Scottish architect Thomas Smith Tait.

Kier Group commissioned Kilmarnock based Annandale Design to enlist their specialist architectural metalwork team to embark on a number of projects throughout the site.  Over the past 4 years, Annandale Design has developed, manufactured and installed numerous bespoke features throughout the expansive housing development, including contemporary glass balustrade systems, stainless steel balconies and canopies which are in keeping with the contemporary and stylish feel of the development.
