Corten Steel Feature Project

In 2015, contractor CBC appointed Annandale Design to carry out a project at the proposed £2.7million Shield Centre, a community services building incorporating two GP surgeries, social work services and healthcare facilities. Annandale Design were employed to design, manufacture and install a number of glass balustrades as well as design, manufacture and install a number of bespoke corten steel features, a weathered steel which is developed to obviate the need for painting and form a stable rust-like appearance if exposed to the weather for several years.
